"De-identification", 2015

oil on canvas, video projection (vertical canvas: 250 x 60cm, horizontal canvas: 170x 130cm)

A projection and two canvases operating as one work of art.  An existential view of man is depicted, where the existence-core of the person is surrounded by a big number of external layers of altered shapes, with which the person is confused and identified with -by the person itself and by society. This work proposes the reverse procedure, this of the removal of the outer layers through conscious denial, until the return to the primitive, pure form -in existence itself- is achieved.
